London Eye celebrates World Sight Day

12 Oct 2010

Vision: The Vision Charity

To celebrate World Sight Day (14th October 2010), The Vision Charity will join forces with The Merlin Entertainments London Eye to launch the Vision Sports Legacy Fund, aimed at bringing sport into the lives of blind and visually impaired children across the UK.

The launch event, Eye for Vision, will see David Ginola and his wife Coraline celebrate the sights of London onboard the London Eye as they raise awareness of the importance of sport in the development of blind and visually impaired children. They will be joined by sporting heroes from the Olympic and Paralympic family and 200 Vision beneficiaries and supporters.
