London Restaurant Festival serves up ‘Pop-Up In The Sky’ Restaurant on the EDF Energy London Eye

London Restaurant Festival (3 – 17 October) promises to serve up a host of exciting events this year to meet everyone’s tastes and budgets. The citywide celebration of the capital’s restaurants and cuisine will also continue its commitment to providing thousands of delicious festival menus.
London Restaurant Festivals most exclusive ‘Pop-Up In The Sky’ Restaurant returns this year with a brand new spin on the EDF Energy London Eye. Each one of your three courses in the capsule will be cooked by a different top London chef. Already signed up for this exclusive dinner treat, with breath taking views, are some of London’s greatest – Angela Harnett, Jason Atherton, Claude Bosi, Pierre Koffman and Marcus Wareing.
Simon Davis, Director and Co-Founder, London Restaurant Festival said: ‘We are delighted to announce Pop Up in the Sky - a truly phenomenal experience on the EDF Energy London Eye that will be hosted by some of the World’s greatest chefs. In addition, we have searched high and low to find the tastiest Scotch Eggs in the Capital to form our delicious Scotch Egg Trail and we welcome everyone to get involved in judging them for themselves.’
LRF 2011 will also be serving up a host of side orders and announcing many other exciting events further into the year.
The London Restaurant Festival was created by Evening Standard restaurant critic Fay Maschler and Simon Davis, her business partner in restaurant consultant A Private View Ltd. The two-week festival takes places from 3rd to 17th October 2011.
