The great British summer is finally here and The London Eye is celebrating with oodles of offers and packages to help visitors wile away the hours in delightful bliss!
To kick off the season, we're offering free Pimm’s to sun-seekers on the Southbank, on the day of the summer solstice. On Tuesday 21st June, the longest day of the year, the first five hundred and sixteen people to arrive at the Pimm’s stand at The London Eye after 5.16pm - the exact time of the solstice - will receive a complimentary serving of Pimm’s.
Available through the summer are Individual Pimm’s Experiences. Enjoy a glass of the ultimate British summer refresher served by the host, whilst taking in the panoramic views of the city. This London Eye experience is the perfect treat for friends or couples looking to enjoy the London landscape from high above the capital.
What better way to enhance this laid-back summer treat than with an upgrade for guests in July, on the house? Those who book onto the 12.30pm individual Pimm’s Experience on each Sunday in July will receive additional delights!
The capsule will be decked out with all the elements of the perfect British summer, including Union Jack flags and a picnic rug, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the summer mood. A complimentary selection of delicious traditional picnic treats from the Afternoon Tea menu will be available as well as a complimentary second rotation to ensure visitors get the most out of their time together.
July also heralds the last opportunity to enjoy the limited edition Vinopolis Individual Wine Tasting Experience. This experience provides the perfect way for guests to spend time with friends or that special someone during an hour long wine tasting session. Visitors will sample five of the finest wines from across the globe, whilst soaring high above the Capital.
Sun-loving guests can also enjoy the London Eye River Cruise, which offers the sights of London’s South Bank from the Thames. Visitors can relax upon the boat’s deck on the 40 minute circular sightseeing cruise, whilst listening to fascinating live commentary from specialist guides that brings the history of the Thames and its surroundings to life.
With every ticket purchased, visitors also receive free entry to the The London Eye 4D Experience. The experience showcases the first ever 3D aerial photography film over London, as well as exciting the senses with live effects like wind, snow and bubbles, for a truly four dimensional experience.
