Opening Times

The London Eye is open from 10am until midnight during the London 2012 Olympics (27th July - 12th August inclusive).

Outside these dates in July and August, the London Eye is open daily 10.00am - 9.30pm.

Getting here

The EDF Energy London Eye is situated on the South Bank of the river Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. The ticket office is located inside County Hall, which is the building directly next to the London Eye.

London is predicted to be busier during this period and your journey may take slightly longer than normal.

By tube
The London Eye is located within easy walking distance from several London Underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster.

By rail
The closest rail stations to the London Eye are Waterloo and Charing Cross.

By road
Traffic on London's road is expected to be heavier than usual during the Olympic period and there may be temporary road closures.

Arrival time and ticket collection

All standard ticket guests wishing to see the new 4D Experience would need to join the 4D entrance queue with their tickets 45 minutes prior to their booked time slot.

If you do not wish to see the 4D Experience before your experience, please proceed to the boarding platform with your tickets 30 minutes before your experience.

You may also visit the 4D Experience after your experience if you choose not to do this before.

Accessibility

There is full disabled access on to the London Eye and within County Hall, which incorporates the ticket office, café and disabled toilets

All paying disabled guests can bring a carer free of charge on both the London Eye and the London Eye River Cruise. Both the London Eye and London Eye River Cruises are full accessible for disabled guests, with wheelchair access and disabled toilets.

We also provide a Fast Track service for elderly and disabled guests. If you would like to use this service, please ask a team member when you are at the London Eye and they will help you.
