Merlin Annual Pass FAQs

What does the Merlin Annual Pass cover at the EDF Energy London Eye and when is it valid?

The Standard Merlin Annual Pass offers unlimited entry, but is only valid for a Standard Ticket and would not be valid at the following times:
- During the month of August
- Valentine’s Day, 14th February
- Halloween, 29th to 31st October

Please note that entry is subject to attraction operating calendars and the following exclusions apply to the Standard Merlin Annual Pass:
- No entry during the month of August at EDF Energy London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium.
- No entry to LEGOLAND® Windsor before 2pm in August.
- No entry during Fright Nights at THORPE PARK.
- Not valid for admission to The Castle Dungeon at Warwick Castle.
- No entry on 14th February at the London Eye.
- No entry on 29th to 31st October at the London Eye and The London Dungeon.
- Parking not included.

Merlin Annual Pass holders receive a 20% discount when purchasing the London Eye River Cruise on the day when presenting their pass. All other ticket types would need to be purchased, as per normal.

Please note these restrictions do not apply to the Merlin Premium Annual Pass.

Can I still buy a Merlin Annual Pass in August?

You can buy a Merlin Annual Pass anytime throughout the year at the London Eye, however you will not be able to use your pass on the London Eye in August.

Can I pre-book tickets using an Annual Pass?

There is no need to pre-book when using an Annual Pass.
You will not need to join the main queue for purchasing tickets. Simply join the boarding queue where your pass will be scanned.
If some of your party do not have Annual Passes wait until they have collected their tickets and then join the boarding queue with them.

When I have my Merlin Annual Passes printed, does every person getting a pass need to be there?

Yes, all persons having a pass made needs to be present. Please note that we are unable to process Family passes, if all members getting a pass are not present.

Can I have my Merlin Annual Pass processed at another attraction?

No, you are only able to have your pass processed at the attraction you have purchased it from.

What do I do if my Annual Pass is confiscated?

Annual Passes are for the exclusive use of the Authorised Holder. They are non-transferable and cannot be sold, lent/loaned or given away to a third party.
MISUSE WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING CONFISCATED WITHOUT RETURN.

What do I do if my Annual Pass gets stolen?

You need to report it with the police and visit your issuing attraction with the crime reference number. The admissions team will look you up on the system and print you off a new card. Please note that an administration fee applies of £10 for each card reprinted. You will also need to bring with you a form of photographic ID.

What do I do if I have a Merlin Annual Pass and others in my party do not?

For adults and children without Merlin Annual Passes, you can book tickets as normal via our website, collect these at the London Eye and join the boarding queue together with Merlin Annual Pass holders.
If you need to book child tickets, please contact +44 (0)871 781 3000 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras) to book, explaining that the children will be visiting with Merlin Annual Pass holders (child tickets cannot be booked without adult tickets as children must be accompanied on the London Eye with adults aged 18 and over).

Can I renew my Merlin Annual Pass?

Yes, you can renew online or in person at any Merlin Entertainments UK attraction on production of your existing annual pass.

If for any reason you no longer have your physical Merlin Annual Pass card, you will need to return to your original issuing attraction to purchase your renewal.

Renewals will now commence from the date that the current pass expires. Passholders can renew their passes up to 8 weeks after expiry but the validity will be back dated to their original expiration date.
