Since opening, the Press Office has worked with countless location managers, film crews and photographers on projects ranging from fashion shoots and news items to TV adverts and international feature films. We value the exposure filming and photography gives the London Eye and London as a whole and encourage applications which reflect the London Eye’s status as a must-do experience in the capital as well as a global icon.

We also facilitate commercial projects, educational projects and opportunities that promote tourism in London and the UK and appreciate requests which are innovative, fresh and exciting.

As a way of managing these projects alongside ensuring that all of our guests have an enjoyable experience, like many other visitor attractions, all filming and photography must be booked in and approved by the Press Office in advance.

To use the London Eye, the London Eye River Cruise or Jubilee Gardens as a location for filming and/or photography, please select your location below, read the guidelines and complete the request form.

Please note that the London Eye reserves the right to question or restrict items that are commonly used for professional purposes.

Restrictions apply to some types of photography and filming equipment. This will include (but is not restricted to): multiple lenses, long lenses and tripods, film cameras with external microphones or lights and cameras used for broadcast purposes.

Those wishing to board the London Eye with any such equipment are advised to contact the Press Office first.
