Guide dogs on London Eye

On July 18th the Coca-Cola London Eye invited volunteers from the Medway branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind to take a ride on the London Eye with their puppies-in-training. The r-aaaaw recruits are visiting the popular attraction as part of their conditioning to become confident when dealing with crowded places - one of many life experiences they’ll be introduced to during their time with the volunteers.

The puppies train from when they are seven weeks old to up to two years before they move on to becoming qualified as a working guide dog.

The Medway branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind is made up of volunteers, fundraisers and puppy walkers working to increase the number of guide dogs available for those in need.
