Dining at 135

The EDF Energy London Eye announces the launch of its most exclusive experience yet and it’s enough to make your mouth water!

The EDF Energy London Eye is proud to announce Dining at 135, its most exclusive experience to date. The new dining experience will allow guests to enjoy a luxury three course meal in the elegance of a private capsule, from 135 metres above London.

The new experience is being introduced ahead of the most exciting summer London has seen in decades as the London Eye gears up to welcome business and leisure guests from the UK and around the world for this year of celebration.

Guests will arrive at the traditionally elegant London Marriott County Hall for a Champagne reception before boarding the EDF Energy London Eye for the starter to be enjoyed over the duration of the first rotation. Guests will be served their main course to relish over the second rotation. During the third and final rotation, diners will enjoy a tranquil pause to take in the panoramic views, as the London Eye pauses just for them, while they sip Pommery Brut Royal Champagne sky-high.

From roasted partridge and a featherblade of beef to a Cornish crab tian and hot smoked salmon with horseradish mousse, the menu will be sure to delight even the most refined of palettes. Pommery Brut Royal Champagne and a selection of fine wines will also be available from the host.

Helen Bull, Marketing Director at EDF Energy London Eye said, ““There’s a real appetite for luxury products on the market and I am pleased that we can offer truly unique and exclusive experiences such as our Afternoon Tea Capsule and Champagne Capsule which cannot be experienced anywhere else. With the Diamond Jubilee, London 2012 Festival and the world’s biggest sporting event on our doorstep this summer, we’re hoping to provide the ultimate money can’t buy experience for guests who are looking for an added touch of class during their time in the capital”.

Sarah Hammond, Director at “rhubarb” food design added, “This has been an exciting project for “rhubarb” as we know no boundaries in serving sensational food and drink onboard this world class venue. Our offer has been tailor made to suit the environment and sensational setting overlooking London; alternatively clients can create a bespoke menu to suit their every taste. We truly believe this is about to become the most exciting place to dine in London”.
