London Restaurant Festival at The London Eye

Chefs aboard The London Eye

11 celebrity chefs boarded the London Eye this morning to launch the 2010 London Restaurant Festival and to mark the first day that tickets are on sale.

During the festival the London Eye will transform into a revolving restaurant with the 11 chefs each cooking onboard the London Eye.

One capsule was transformed into a chic dining room and the following chefs sat around the table:

  • Executive Chef Dean Yasharian ‘Bar Boulud’ (representing Daniel Boulud)
  • Richard Corrigan of Corrigan’s of Mayfair
  • Georgio Locatelli of Locanda Locatelli
  • Head Chef Tong Chee Hwee of Hakassan
  • Gary Lee, Head Chef of The Ivy
  • Francesco Mazzei of L’Anima
  • Gordon Ramsay of restaurant Gordon Ramsay
  • Angela Hartnett of Murano
  • Chef Joël Antunes of Brasserie Joel
  • Head Chef Kevin Gratton from HIX (representing Mark Hix)
  • Jitin Joshi, Executive Chef of Benares restaurant, Mayfair (representing Atul Kochhar)
