The world-renowned lastminute.com London Eye, one of London’s most iconic and cherished landmarks, is calling on all fans to celebrate Star Wars and its infamous villains on Star Wars Day with a dynamic light show.

In the evening of Saturday May the 4th, the London Eye will put on a lighting spectacle inspired by the dark side and lightsaber colours of the Sith Darth Vader™, Darth Maul™ and Emperor Palpatine; turning the wheel red, silver and black. The stunning display will be an epic moment for  all fans celebrating Star Wars day, illuminating the skyline of London from 19:45 - 06:00 BST. So whether you’re a loyal supporter of the Rebel Alliance or the Resistance, an advocate for the Galactic Empire or the First Order, or simply just curious, the Force will be with all fans on May the 4th at the London Eye.

"London may not be a galaxy far, far away, but Darth Vader and Stormtroopers visiting the London Eye certainly cements London’s celebrations this May the 4th," said Imran Tauqir, General Manager at the lastminute.com London Eye. "Whilst the Eye hosts thousands of guests everyday, we hope all fans in London and abroad this Star Wars Day find their inner ‘Force’ and enjoy witnessing the illumination inspired by the villains of the Star Wars galaxy."
