The time slot you select is when you join the queue for the London Eye. If you have a standard entry ticket, please join the standard queue. If your ticket includes fast track entry, please join the fast-track queue. 

To ensure smooth operation, please note customers will not be allowed to join the queue until the booked time slot.

The London Eye welcomes everyone from all age groups. We offer adult tickets for anyone aged 16 or over, child tickets for children between 4 to 15 years old. Children aged 3 or under can visit for free but it is essential to also have a valid ticket. 

Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or over. 16 or 17 year-olds can visit the attraction unaccompanied by an adult but cannot be responsible for children aged 15 or under.

We offer a wide range of multi-attraction passes that allow you to choose the attractions you want to visit. 

You can choose from the London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, London Dungeon, Shrek's Adventure! London and Big Bus Tour London. 

You have 90 days to visit all attractions and can reschedule your ticket(s) for free up to 24 hours prior to arrival and up to 5 times.

London Eye gift vouchers or gift cards are currently not available to purchase.

No. Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or over. Children who are 16 or 17 years old can visit the attraction unaccompanied by an adult but cannot be responsible for children who are 15 or under.

The London Eye welcomes guests who are pregnant. There is seating available in the pod, toilet facilities by the ticket office and a rotation lasts 30 minutes.

At the attraction

You should join the queue for the London Eye at the time slot you selected when you purchased your ticket. You can find this on your ticket and order confirmation email.

If you have a standard entry ticket, please join the standard queue. If your ticket includes fast track entry, please join the fast track queue. 

To ensure a smooth operation, please kindly note customers will not be allowed to join the queue until the booked time slot.

The queue time is dependent on seasonality. For standard ticket holders, we generally advise customers to anticipate around 45 minutes in the queue, and around 20 minutes for fast-track ticket holders. A rotation on the London Eye lasts for 30 minutes. 

Please note this is an estimate and actual queue times are subject to seasonality. If you are visiting during peak periods (school holidays and public holidays), please allow extra time in the queue.

The queue time at the London Eye is subject to seasonality. If you would like to avoid a long boarding queue, we generally advise to book the first or last entry of the day. During peak periods including school holidays and summer months, the boarding queue could be longer. For more information about the queue time, please see our queueing section.

There are storage facilities at the London Eye with a £5 charge per item. Items will have to be collected by 7pm on the same day. There is an overnight charge of £25

Yes. Customers can bring a pushchair or buggy with them onto one of the pods of the London Eye. It needs to be fully folded / closed before joining the boarding queue, remain closed throughout the experience including at the entrance and exit ramps, until after guests have exited the attraction. 

There are also left luggage facilities in the ticket hall where you can leave your buggy or pushchair for free showing your London Eye ticket. It will have to be collected by 7pm. 

The London Eye gift shop is located at the exit of the attraction. It offers a wide range of London Eye related souvenirs, merchandise, including photo packages, to help you remember the memorable experience.

Yes - there is O2 WiFi at the ticket hall of the London Eye.

A rotation on the London Eye lasts 30 minutes.

Toilets are located in the ticket office at the London Eye by the VIP desk. Customers will find male, female toilets downstairs, and accessible toilet, and baby changing facilities at ground level.

The London Eye normally closes for a few days January for annual maintenance. Please check our opening hours page for the latest updates on when we are open.

The height of the London Eye is 135 metres tall.

The number of people in your pod may vary, but we'll always ensure there is enough space for everyone to enjoy the 360-degree views. Please note that there is a minimum requirement of 2 adults per pod.

Under current COVID-19 regulations, face masks are not mandatory in our attraction. Unless you have booked a private pod, you are likely to be sharing the pod with other guests and therefore, we recommend that you wear one if you feel more comfortable with it. 

Managing Your Booking

It is easy to re-validate your ticket to visit on a later date. You can change your ticket date via our booking portal, details of which you can find on your e-ticket. Our booking guarantee allows you to move your ticket up to five times, with the flexibility to move bookings up to 24 hours before your arrival time.

Our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. You can reschedule the visit date and time up to 24 hour prior to arrival by logging into our Booking Portal.

If you have purchased a London Eye and London Eye River Cruise ticket, you have already booked your River Cruise timeslot – this is the date and time you selected at the time of purchase, and it will appear on your order confirmation email. You can log into the booking portal to view this information. To access the booking portal, go to the "Manage my booking" section at the top of the page. 


It is essential to book a London Eye time slot as well. If you haven’t booked already, please do so by logging into the booking portal. You will need to provide your order number (this is located on your booking confirmation email).

Merlin Annual Pass

Merlin Annual Pass friends and family ticket can be purchased here. The passholder must be present on the day of visit. Customers will be required to present a valid Merlin Annual Pass upon arrival to grant entry. Tickets are subject to your Merlin Annual Pass terms and conditions
