Rising above the Thames and recognised around the world, the London Eye has provided the backdrop to some of London's most memorable cultural moments. Since opening in 2000, we have welcomed location managers, production companies, photographers and broadcasters working across everything from news coverage and fashion shoots to television productions, commercial campaigns and international feature films.
The London Eye remains one of the capital's most iconic landmarks, offering an unrivalled perspective of London and a setting unlike any other.
Filming & Photography Requests
We recognise the value of filming and photography in showcasing the London Eye and London to audiences around the world. We welcome requests that align with the attraction's position as one of the city's most iconic landmarks and a globally recognised destination.
To ensure all productions can be delivered safely and with minimal impact on our guests, all filming and photography requests must be submitted to and approved by the Press Office in advance. As with many major visitor attractions, no filming or photography may take place on site without prior written approval.
To enquire about using the London Eye or the London Eye River Cruise as a filming or photography location, please contact the Press Office team.
Please note that we are unable to support filming requests for Jubilee Gardens.

Equipment
Please note that the London Eye reserves the right to assess and, where necessary, restrict equipment that may be considered professional photography or filming equipment.
Restrictions may apply to certain items, including but not limited to:
- Multiple camera lenses
- Long or telephoto lenses
- Tripods and monopods
- Cameras fitted with external microphones or lighting equipment
- Equipment used for commercial filming or broadcast purposes
Guests wishing to bring this type of equipment onto the London Eye are advised to contact the Press Office in advance of their visit.
