The amount of money you save will vary depending on the day and time of your visit, tickets during peak times can sell out quickly so it's best to book online early to guarantee a spot and lock in a good deal.

Our peak times are busier periods at the attraction - peak days that are selling fast may be more expensive as availability is limited.

Book in advance to guarantee the best price for your tickets - prices vary and can go up as the date of your visit gets closer. You can save money by booking online and you'll also be guaranteed a spot.

Pricing is subject to change based on availability.

Ticket prices vary depending on available capacity and prices may fluctuate during periods of high demand we recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to guarantee entry.

The time slot you select is when you join the queue for the London Eye. If you have a standard entry ticket, please join the standard queue. If your ticket includes fast track entry, please join the fast-track queue. 

To ensure smooth operation, please note customers will not be allowed to join the queue until the booked time slot.

The London Eye welcomes everyone from all age groups. We offer adult tickets for anyone aged 16 or over, child tickets for children between 3 to 15 years old. Children aged 2 or under can visit for free but it is essential to also have a valid ticket. 

Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or over. 16 or 17 year-olds can visit the attraction unaccompanied by an adult but cannot be responsible for children aged 15 or under.

We offer a wide range of multi-attraction passes that allow you to choose the attractions you want to visit. 

You can choose from the London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, London Dungeon, Shrek's Adventure! London and Big Bus Tour London. 

You have 90 days to visit all attractions and can reschedule your ticket(s) for free up to 24 hours prior to arrival and up to 5 times.

London Eye gift vouchers or gift cards are currently not available to purchase. 

If you were thinking of buying a gift voucher or gift card for the London Eye, we recommend you purchase a standard ticket from our main tickets page, where you can reschedule for free up to 24 hours prior to arrival via our self-served booking portal.

The London Eye does not offer a separate rate for senior citizens. Our adult rate is for anyone 16 or above. For our ticket options, please visit our main tickets page

If you are visiting the London Eye as a group of 10 or more, you can save up to 26% when booking in advance. To make a group booking, please visit our groups page

If you are a Blue Light Card holder, or a member of UK Defence Discount Service, you may be able to receive a discount for Merlin Entertainments attractions including the London Eye via an online booking portal.

Please note we do not offer any discounts at the attraction on the day as all tickets must be pre-booked before you arrive.

No. Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or over. Children who are 16 or 17 years old can visit the attraction unaccompanied by an adult but cannot be responsible for children who are 15 or under.

The London Eye welcomes guests who are pregnant. There is seating available in the pod, toilet facilities by the ticket office and a rotation lasts 30 minutes. 

Please note pre-booking is highly recommended to avoid any disappointments. Customers can also choose fast track tickets for speedy boarding. See here for our queuing system.

Yes you can book one of our 32 pods for a more private experience. It hosts up to 25 guests for a 30 minute rotation. Please visit our private pod page for more information and how to book. You can also find out more about our VIP experiences here.

At the attraction

You should join the queue for the London Eye at the time slot you selected when you purchased your ticket. You can find this on your ticket and order confirmation email.

If you have a standard entry ticket, please join the standard queue. If your ticket includes fast track entry, please join the fast track queue. 

To ensure a smooth operation, please kindly note customers will not be allowed to join the queue until the booked time slot.

The queue time is dependent on seasonality. For standard ticket holders, we generally advise customers to anticipate around 45 minutes in the queue, and around 20 minutes for fast-track ticket holders. A rotation on the London Eye lasts for 30 minutes. 

Please note this is an estimate and actual queue times are subject to seasonality. If you are visiting during peak periods (school holidays and public holidays), please allow extra time in the queue.

Alternatively, if you wish to have more flexibility on your arrival time, please consider our flexi fast track ticket that offers you ultimate flexibility. 

The queue time at the London Eye is subject to seasonality. If you would like to avoid a long boarding queue, we generally advise to book the first or last entry of the day. During peak periods including school holidays and summer months, the boarding queue could be longer. For more information about the queue time, please see our queueing section.

There are storage facilities at the London Eye with a £5 charge per item. Items will have to be collected by 7pm on the same day. There is an overnight charge of £25

Please note luggage and suitcases are not permitted onto the London Eye.

Yes. Customers can bring a pushchair or buggy with them onto one of the pods of the London Eye. It needs to be fully folded / closed before joining the boarding queue, remain closed throughout the experience including at the entrance and exit ramps, until after guests have exited the attraction. 

There are also left luggage facilities in the ticket hall where you can leave your buggy or pushchair for free showing your London Eye ticket. It will have to be collected by 7pm. 

The London Eye gift shop is located at the exit of the attraction. It offers a wide range of London Eye related souvenirs, merchandise, including photo packages, to help you remember the memorable experience.

Yes - there is O2 WiFi at the ticket hall of the London Eye.

A rotation on the London Eye lasts 30 minutes.

We highly recommend customers to buy it prior to their flight.

Toilets are located in the ticket office at the London Eye by the VIP desk. Customers will find male, female toilets downstairs, and accessible toilet, and baby changing facilities at ground level.

The London Eye normally closes for a few days January for annual maintenance. Please check our opening hours page for the latest updates on when we are open.

The height of the London Eye is 135 metres tall.

The number of people in your pod may vary, but we'll always ensure there is enough space for everyone to enjoy the 360-degree views. Please note that there is a minimum requirement of 2 adults per pod.

Under current COVID-19 regulations, face masks are not mandatory in our attraction. Unless you have booked a private pod, you are likely to be sharing the pod with other guests and therefore, we recommend that you wear one if you feel more comfortable with it. 

Managing Your Booking

It is easy to re-validate your ticket to visit on a later date. You can change your ticket date via our booking portal, details of which you can find on your e-ticket. Our booking guarantee allows you to move your ticket up to five times, with the flexibility to move bookings up to 24 hours before your arrival time.

Our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. You can reschedule the visit date and time up to 24 hour prior to arrival by logging into our Booking Portal.

If you have purchased a London Eye and London Eye River Cruise ticket, you have already booked your River Cruise timeslot – this is the date and time you selected at the time of purchase, and it will appear on your order confirmation email. You can log into the booking portal to view this information. To access the booking portal, go to the "Manage my booking" section at the top of the page. 

It is essential to book a London Eye time slot as well. If you haven’t booked already, please do so by logging into the booking portal. You will need to provide your order number (this is located on your booking confirmation email).

Merlin Annual Pass

Merlin Annual Pass friends and family ticket can be purchased here. The passholder must be present on the day of visit. Customers will be required to present a valid Merlin Annual Pass upon arrival to grant entry. Tickets are subject to your Merlin Annual Pass terms and conditions

Additional Needs

Yes, the London Eye is fully accessible and we welcome guests with all accessible needs. Due to health and safety we are only permitted to allow entry to two wheelchair users per pod and eight on The London Eye at any one time. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend booking a wheelchair slot in advance.

For health and safety reasons, we may only have two wheelchair users per pod and eight on the entire London Eye ride at any one time.

The London Eye River Cruise can accommodate a maximum of 3 wheelchairs per cruise. Please note the wheelchair lift can accommodate standard size wheelchairs only.

Yes, mobility scooters are permitted onto the London Eye. However, please note that the width of our boarding gate and ramp is 37 inches.

A maximum of two wheelchairs/mobility scooters are allowed onto one pod at any one time.

On the London Eye, our boarding ramp and boarding gates can facilitate a 37-inch wheelchair, including motorised wheelchairs.

On the London Eye River Cruise, our ramps can only accommodate standard sized wheelchairs with a maximum width of 32 inches.

Of course! Our staff members will be happy to assist your boarding and slow the ride if necessary.

Guests are welcome to bring any medicine they may require for their day out. Please be aware that all guests are subject to a brief security search. If you are concerned about any items you may have with you, please speak to a member of staff.

Assistance dogs are welcome on the London Eye - we request that your dog is clearly identifiable as a working dog.

Please be aware that there may be a small delay to boarding to ensure that your dog is as comfortable as possible!

Commonly used items we permit that may help your experience on the eye are:

  • Ear defenders
  • Fidget toys for anxiety e.g. fidget spinners

We have a Braille guide available for both the London Eye and the London Eye River Cruise to ensure that our expert commentary is accessible to all. Please speak to a member of staff at the Ride/River Cruise entrance, who will be more than happy to provide you with one of our guides to utilise during your experience.

Carers

When purchasing a standard, fastrack or multi attraction ticket in advance from our website, you will be given the opportunity to book a free carer ticket alongside your order. *Note, you must be purchasing at least 1 full priced ticket in order to be able to add a carer ticket in your basket.

On the day of your visit, you must produce any one of the below documentation.

  • Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or Personal Independent payments for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book
  • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
  • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded
  • A Blue or Orange badge, or
  • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
  • An International Equivalent of the Above

*Please note, if you are interested in one of our VIP experiences such as a Champagne experience or one of our food or drink tasting experiences, the free carer will only receive entry onto the London Eye.

Due to popular demand, we are currently working on introducing a Carer Ticket that allows entry to all attractions in your multi-attraction ticket.

For now, a London Eye or London Eye River Cruise carer ticket does not cover carer entry to these other attractions.

PLEASE NOTE: Big Bus does not offer carer tickets. If a carer would like to join a Big Bus tour, please book a standard ticket on the Big Bus official website.

Accessible Services and Facilities

We are happy to assist guests with any additional accessibility needs. Please note that wheelchair access starts at the beginning of the boarding ramps. If you require assistance when joining the queue, please ask a team member and they will help you. 

For guests who require additional support or are unable to queue due to a condition or disability we would advise speaking to a member of staff at our Fastrack entrance for a speedier boarding experience.

If you would like to discuss your individual needs with us, please contact customer.services@londoneye.com who will be more than happy to assist you.

To board the London Eye there will be an element of queuing for regular customers. Those who are unable to stand for longer periods of time or do not understand the concept of queuing can have our assisted boarding service. Please present at our Fastrack entrance and our team will be more than happy to assist you.

Please speak to a member of our team onsite regarding assisted boarding. In the event of having several non-disabled guests with you, we may not be able to assist the whole group and may be asked to wait near the boarding platform entrance until the rest of your group reaches you in the queue.  

The London Eye is proud to provide T Loop facilities in our Ticket Hall and on our London Eye River Cruise. If you would like to use this facility, please seek assistance from staff and switch to the T loop setting on your device(s).

We are lucky enough to have a number of staff at the attraction who are fluent in British Sign Language. Please let us know if we can arrange for a member of this team to assist you.

The London Eye doesn't offer a car park or parking facilities.

The London Eye is a breastfeeding friendly attraction and we would be more than happy to provide you with a comfortable area upon request. Please speak to a member of our team on the day who can assist you further.

We do not offer a discounted ticket for disabled guests, but if you purchase a ticket in advance from our website or an external vendor, you are entitled to one extra free ticket for your carer.

This is super easy to book – please do so via the carer FAQ above.

Our team is trained to recognise the hidden disabilities sunflower lanyard. Please speak to a member of staff at any point during your visit, should you require any assistance.

There may be a couple of points in your journey where you encounter flashing lights:

  1. From the camera flash as you take a photo by our greenscreen in the queue-line
  2. From the camera flash as you take a photo towards the end of your rotation on the Eye

If you have concerns about any of these experiences, please speak to a member of staff on the day who will be able to further assist.
