The campaign aims to offer 10,000 children around the world free access to some amazing experiences to mark the opening of Merlin Entertainment's 100th attraction. The children went on to visit the EDF Energy London Eye and the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, with other groups hosted at the London Dungeon and Madame Tussauds London.

"We work with local organisations and charities all year round with a simple aim - to give deserving children who may not otherwise be able to experience the magic of a unique visitor attraction experiences they will remember for a lifetime," commented David Sharpe, Divisional Director of Merlin Entertainments' London attractions. "It is wonderful to see so many children coming together to laugh and play in celebration of the wonderful work Merlin's Magic Wand does not just in London, but around the world."

Merlin's Magic Wand is a very special company charity, which provides great days out for seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged children at Merlin Entertainments attractions around the world - including Madame Tussauds London, The EDF Energy London Eye, The SEA LIFE London Aquarium and The London Dungeon. When children are too ill to visit the attractions, Merlin's Magic Wand works with local communities to fund specialist play areas for them with their ‘Taking the Magic to the Children’ initiative.
