Twitter reaction to the BBC’s EU Referendum debate lights up the Coca-Cola London Eye

For the first time ever, as the evening light faded, Twitter data lit up the London Eye in a real-time visualisation of Twitter conversation about #Remain and #Leave from the start of the live debate at 8pm.

Updated every 10 minutes until midnight, the London Eye was transformed into a giant ‘in-or-out’ pie chart, with ‘Remain’ conversation represented by blue lights and the ‘Leave’ share in red lights. The final count, at 10PM revealed REMAIN (blue) vote as 41.76% and LEAVE (red) as 58.24%.
