Pride 2023

Join the London Eye in celebrating Pride 2023!

On Saturday 1st July, the lastminute.com London Eye will be lighting up in rainbow colours to celebrate Pride in London.

To honour the occasion and educate students on LGBT+ history, we’ve created a brand-new free assembly to be used in schools.

The assembly is designed for KS2-KS5 students, helping to:

• Educate pupils on the history of the Pride parade
• Show how Pride provides a platform for LGBT+ people to celebrate their identity
• Encourage reflection on themes like diversity, equality, identity and community
• Support classroom learning in PSHE, history, citizenship and more

Additionally, to help students put their learning into context in the real world, we’ve created free curriculum-linked Pride activities ready to use in-class or on a trip to the London Eye.
