Earth Hour 2023

Pride London Eye

Join the London Eye in recognising Earth Hour!

On 25th March at 8:30pm, the lastminute.com London Eye will be joining individuals, communities and businesses across the world in switching off its lights to advocate for climate action.

To honour the movement and help educate students on their shared responsibility for the planet, we’ve developed a free assembly ready for you to download and use in your school.

The assembly is designed for KS2/KS3 students, helping to:

  • Increase awareness of the Earth Hour mission
  • Promote healthy discussions around energy use and the role it plays in the climate crisis
  • Inspire students to take action in the fight against climate change
  • Show how they can join the London Eye in recognising Earth Hour in their local communities
  • Support classroom learning in geography, PSHE and citizenship

Additionally, to help students put their learning into context in the real world, we’ve created free curriculum-linked Earth Hour activities ready to use in-class or on a trip to the London Eye.
